Dark Tales of the Heart

I keep dreaming of you

Someway somehow you have been in most of my dreams this whole week. Some didn’t make sense why you were there, other times you were a central piece of the dream. But no matter the case; all the dreams were telling me the same: I miss you, very much.

  • me at night: I'm going to try so hard at school from now on. I'll finish my assignments and study every night because it will make exams so much easier. I'll also spend more time with my family and less time on the internet in my room. I'll eat healthier and exercise regularly. I will be a better person, and give more than i take. I will treat every day like it's my last because you only live once. I will live a greater life.
  • me the next morning: fuck that shit

“You are a rare case…”

Today in my last class of Interpersonal Communications my professor told what he saw in each of the students, except me. He did not mention me at all. I went to him after class when no one was around and I asked him “What do you see on me?” and he told me this:

Professor: “I didn’t wanted to tell you because this is more something that you have to do by yourself, and I also don’t want you to get a big head out of it”

Me: “What do you mean?”

Professor: “You are a rare case… I have being around famous people, I have met them, talk to them, shook their hands. From JFK, to Clinton, even Oliver Stone! and you, you have many of the qualities that these famous people have. You have a great spirit for success, I don’t know if you see it, but I see it. I can see you will be one of those very great people. But you have to make it happen for yourself.”

Me: “…”

Professor: “You have to go out and meet more people, you have to get used to know and meet these kind of people, because you have everything in yourself to become one, and I can see down the road that you will.”

We finished talking and I went to my car and a few tears fell down my cheek. I don’t know why I was crying. All I knew is that he had compared me to JFK and that I had a lot of his qualities. That I am meant to do great things; but I must accomplish them for myself. I don’t know why I cried, but it was a great way to finish my last speech class.
